Another Day, Another random time. op 21:01

It started off with me losing a game in the chess tournament I was taking part of, I was winning too but then par usual lost focus and all went to hell from there on. Either way, I lost, I lose focus, I lost interest and simply got bored. Nothing new there if I'm completely honest.

During the game though I was getting spammed with invites, and for good reason about 10 or more of us had gathered together. And of course, with such a large group of us in one spot. It was hard to follow. The topics spanned from emos to valentines day event and so on, I must admit though, one of the topics did in fact bother me but sometimes you have to throw your hands up in the air and just say "So what".

That said you'll see in the picture both Milnerant and myself. Yes, I dressed as an emo at the pitful attempt of making fun of the extremely hard lives they all lead. I should not at all say anything about it or they may cut themselves. I am sorry for their pain and sorrow and heartbreaking. It's all too much to bear!

...It's fun though ;)

Abuser :

Someone who is a danger to human beings. Abuse can take many different forms. Abusers can use prolonged abuse tactics over a long period of time to try to control, harm or damage someones reputation and/or to physically or psychologically harm them. 'Example' Abuser- Vitale opened websites about his victim. He tries to manipulate relationships, degrades and uses psychological torture and verbal insults to taunt people. Also uses stalking as a control tool. He is an abuser.

Random :

The latest buzzword used amongst mindless teenagers as a way of showing just so utterly irreverent their predictable sense of humour is. Particularly dominant among English teens and University students, the word "random" or the act of being "random" is a desperate plea for others to recognise how totally against the grain of the norm you are and that you're really crazy and out there. Trouble is, being "random" is predictable, boring, moronic and extremely sad indeed.

Missed Monday Night Quiz Night, Again! op 21:20

Today is Monday, and for some reason I decided to absolutely neglect the fact that on this very day was the MVP Quiz Night. This is the second time in a row I do this! I'm quite disappointed as the couple of nights that I DID attend where in fact quite fun and worth showing up to.

So naturally, my sheer jealousy of those who joined made me end up going to the event thread, as usual it seems as if the same format took place with lots of randomness ensured. Black13 ended up winning.

Carl_Birch was also kind enough to allow me to use some of the pictures off that thread.

Developers love Home op 19:56

So unless you've been living under some sort of rock, you would without a doubt have come by the picture above which shows the developers supporting Home basically. While it is quite promising seeing Koei, Sega, Konami and Activision join the party (Along with all the others). I couldn't help but notice the lack of SquareEnix and Rockstar.

Eventually, those developers might be tempted to join but for now apparently, they'll be staying out of it. Although all is not gloom. I should be glad for what's to come. Sega means most probably Sonic would be coming in one form or another to Home, Koei would maybe mean the addition of some sort of Dynasty Warriors thing, we could see Konami introduce a space similar to EA to support MGS and PES series and Activision could also introduce a space of their own.

All in all, Home just needs a few more features (Game Launching for gods sake!) and it would be closing in to it's potential and promise.

A group of us came across a delightful fellow, who seemed to like hanging around with us. Thing is, he kept abusing us, but it was hysterical as his comebacks were reminiscent of primary school. Anyway, we all started surrounding the guy doing the running man, and started making words out of Tom... As you can see.

Red Bull gives me wings op 23:20

Im sharing my run I always use in the Red Bull race. Here it is... this is just a 48.08 run, but its how I break the 47 secs. I have put a lot of time into practicing these runs and perfecting my times.

Key Tips

• Despite what people think, turning using the roll around normal gates slow you down as it drags the plane downwards (which when you roll and turn, its basically moving you slightly outwards) So try and avoid this where possible and only do the rolls at the roll gates
• Try to stay high rather than near the water, you can use the tops of the cones to line yourself up and turn easier and avoid getting a time penalty. Once you master this, you will be able to do the exact same run over and over consistently without errors.
• Keep your eye on the top right timer, this is most important to see where you can improve
• Be in a quieter server where not many people can distract you when text talking. Also quieter servers i find have an impact on your times
• Dont give up
• Try and keep the plane level as much as you can, it keeps the server running smoother.
• Also go wide on occasions, rather than keeping close to the cones, another mistake people make.

Thankfully though, I do have a keyboard! Hurrah, the day is saved thanks to this godly keyboard which allows me to not waste 5 minutes of every bodies lives just to type in a simple sentence!
